Convention Follow-up
The convention was a great success! Thank you to all that made the journey to Carbondale. We look forward to next year's 2013 Annual State Meeting in San Miguel County. Congratulations to the Green Party of the Pikes Peak Region and the Douglas County Greens for earning certification as the newest locals of the GPCO. Many congratulations to the GPCO candidates that were nominated in Carbondale and two all three presidential candidates who earned delegates from Colorado. Candidate bios of several of the GPCO nominees have been added to the Candidates page. This website will remain up until January, 2013. 2012 Green Party of Colorado Nominating Convention and Meeting
The Green Party of Colorado (GPCO) Nominating Convention will take place March 31st, 2012 at the Third Street Center in Carbondale, Colorado. We would like to extend an invite to all Greens in Colorado. At this convention, candidates seeking state and local office in the 2012 election on the Green Party of Colorado ticket will be nominated. Colorado delegates to the Green Party of the United States (GPUS) presidential nomination will also be selected. All registered voters of the GPCO will be allowed to cast votes for these nominees and delegates. In addition to these votes, policy positions of the GPCO may be discussed and voted on. This event is free of charge. Please help us plan ahead by RSVPing at the registration page.
